Winter Farm Tour: Get out of the house and live a little!

I've been talking with a few people who are getting cabin fever. The winter hasn't been too bad thus far, but early evenings and a lack of activities are really starting to be a drag for everyone who enjoys an active lifestyle.

Take hope, friends, because we're hosting a farm tour that will engage your mind, increase your network of local food fanatics, and get you outside!

Our Winter Tour: Frozen on the Farm! takes place on Saturday, February 23 at 4 pm and will feature a meal catered by our good friends at Daddy's Main Street (featuring Clarion Farms BEEF, of course!) We'll eat and discuss farming and food, then head out to feed calves and learn about our grain fed beef program. Finally, it's over the hill to visit our herd of grassfed cattle and compare the two methods of beef production. This is an opportunity to gain deep insight into local food production with friends who share similar interests. Tickets are $25 (please reserve your spots ahead of time in the Beef Barn or at any of our remote locations). BYOB and get ready for a great evening out of the house. This will definitely give you something to talk about on Monday morning!

PLEASE dress according to the weather, and note that there will be a short driving element in the tour so we are able to see both herds of animals.
