Yeah, it's real beef.
Does anyone else think it's weird that food labels emphasize the word REAL? As in 'Made with REAL honey!' or 'Made with REAL milk!'
Here's my favorite: 'Made with REAL butter flavor!!' What? So it's a real flavoring that's made to taste like butter? Sounds wholesome.
Obviously, if 'real' is a selling point, the implication is that most of the time ingredients are NOT real.
You know what we don't need to emphasize at the Beef Barn? That our beef is REAL. Here, there isn't a fake alternative that necessitates the 'real' distinction. At the Beef Barn, the necessary distinction is BEEF, and hold the caveats, thank you very much.
We sell beef. That we raise. On our farm. In Clarion. From calves to finish. There are even options: grainfed and grassfed. So when you buy something from us, there is no question about authenticity.
Friends, this is the kind of food traceability the food world is aching to achieve, and you have it neatly situated on a piece of beautiful property right outside of town. How freaking cool is that?
We're glad to be here on the journey with you.
