The Clarion Farms Grassfed Update
HELLOOOOOO GRASSFED FANATICS!!
It's been a while since my last grassfed inventory post. Here's the update:
Unfortunately, we're out of grassfed ground beef already; turns out it's a popular product. People are coming in and saying it's the best grassfed beef they've gotten anywhere. One customer told me she and her husband have purchased grassfed beef on more than ten farms along the East Coast, and they like the grassfed from our farm best.
We run out because of our commitment to quality: the best beef comes off the best grass, and the best grass happens in the spring and fall. We load the freezers in each season and hope to make it through until the next harvest. As our grassfed enterprise matures there will be fewer and fewer outages. I appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime. Remember: it runs out because it's real.
What we DO have is excellent: chipped steak can make a good ground beef substitute, and we have plenty of sirloin steaks that are versatile: grill them whole, slice and sear for fajitas, make steak salad...the list is long. There is a pile of grassfed filet remaining (seriously - grassfed filet), several ribeyes (Delmonico), tip roasts, rolled rump roasts, London Broil, and briskets. You'll also find chuck eye steaks, petite tender steaks, and some cubed steak. Options abound.
Anyone who likes the mineral density of liver and can't find it anywhere can rejoice: we have a ton of grassfed liver and I'd like to find a home for it. This is the real deal - absolutely zero grain, antibiotics, vaccines, or any artificial inputs affect the lives of these cattle. It's the purest liver you'll find, and it comes in one pound packages. Have friends that like liver? Tell them. I'll be forever grateful. I also have a grassfed heart for those who are brave.
The Core Goods grassfed delivery is coming up on January 17; if you're in the Oil City area please place your order and I'll have everything ready to go for you on the delivery date! Otherwise, stop by the store and pick out your favorite grassfed cuts to get you through the winter!
Here is a great story by our friend Aly. It nicely outlines the vision of Core Goods. http://www.exploreclarion.com/2019/12/06/new-clarion-farms-continuing-to-expand-to-new-markets/
Thank you, and see you at the Beef Barn!
