I have big news. So big that it might cause an over-reaction; I feel inclined to keep it a secret. Or it might not. So I feel inclined to shout it from the rooftops. A compromise: I'll type-whisper it, and all you awesome people can do with the news what you please. At the minimum, there will be some grassfed fans doing their happy dance today, and I suppose that is acceptable, considering....

What's a grassfed beef release? It's similar to a can release at microbreweries, during which crowds gather in anticipation of the brewmaster's presentation of an exclusive, much loved, limited quantity beer. In this case, crowds have been circling in anticipation of the beefmaster's presentation of exclusive, much loved, limited quantity grassfed steaks. And ground beef. And roasts.
Today is the day.
Starting this afternoon at the Beef Barn, our spring seasonal grassfed beef release will kick off. We'll be loading extraordinary grain-free beef, fresh off lush spring pasture, into the freezers for the next five weeks, and then it's over until fall. So enjoy the season while it lasts, my friends.
As always, prices for our grainfed and grassfed steaks are the same. If you're waiting on a grassfed beef order, please be patient; i'm working on them, and it might take a couple weeks to aggregate your desired cut list.
Remember: It's seasonal because it's real. Don't buy fake grassfed.
