Henry's Farm Update, 3-2-20
Hi folks,
Henry here with your weekly farm update.
I spent quite a bit of time this winter with Grammy at kindergym getting buff and socializing. Now that the program has come to an end I’ve needed to find other ways to stay in shape. Fortunately, that’s not too hard on a farm.
Grandpa hauls home our fresh-cut beef every week so customers can pick out their favorite steaks, roasts, and ground beef for meals. The boxes full of cuts are HEAVY. One person cannot possibly carry a box unassisted. And that, friends, is where I come in.
Overflowing with youthful vigor and topped up with one-and-a-half years of wisdom, I stand ready to bark instructions and carry surplus weight while we’re unloading the truck. Most of the time it’s pretty tricky wedging two people and a box through the door all at the same time, but I’m convinced that, in my absence, the project would be much more difficult. Once the beef is unpacked and put away I’m always ready for a nap. Grandpa usually mentions that his back is all out of whack from hunching over with the boxes. Imagine how bad it would be if I wasn’t there!
Yes indeed, it’s a family project at the Port farm, and everyone carries their own weight around here. So do you! Clarion Farms customers shop for a dream to pursue, and we’re all a critical part of the story. It’s so much fun to wake up every day and write a new page with everyone.
P.S. It isn’t 100% official yet, but I believe we’ll be introducing a very exciting new product this week. My dad has been talking about it incessantly, so I sure hope we don’t have to wait much longer. Stay tuned to see what it is!
See you at the Beef Barn,
