Saturday in the Strip District!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, PITTSBURGH!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s Saturday, and that means today is the day to find worry-free beef in Pittsburgh. The coolers are packed and I’m headed to the Strip District with steaks, roasts, and ground beef from our farm for your family. We really do raise, pack, and sell it all. That’s as authentic as it gets. Find this goodness at 2216 Penn Avenue beside the extraordinary Bar Marco from 9-12.
The thermometer says ‘cold’ this morning – make sure you wear your long underwear to the market. Everyone is curious to know how the cattle handle the cold; they’ve been thrilled the past couple days because cold and dry is easier to thrive in than 30 and wet. I know I prefer not being soaked! Of course, the chill is one thing when I’m moving around the farm, but standing in one location on pavement for three hours…brrrr!
You guys make the trip worth it! DON’T FORGET: Starting March 7 we will no longer be using plastic bags in Pittsburgh. Get in the habit of bringing a reusable bag off the pile in your trunk. Need a reusable bag? We have some available.
